About the Organization:
PNAMHI is the professional organization for Filipino nurses across the Maui and Hawaiʻi Islands. They lead community health fairs, continuing education programs, volunteer outreach, and wellness initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access.
Our Partnership:
Through coordinated outreach events and health education, Nursing Care Hawaii works with PNAMHI to support kupuna wellness, caregiver training, and community health resources across Maui.
FilCom CARES
Filipino Community Advocacy, Resources, Education & Support
About the Organization:
FilCom CARES is a nonprofit dedicated to serving Maui’s Filipino community through advocacy, education, cultural preservation, and community assistance. They help families access essential resources, especially during times of need.
Our Partnership:
Nursing Care Hawaii works hand-in-hand with FilCom CARES to expand outreach for caregivers and kupuna. Together, we provide health information, support services, and community engagement that uplift Maui’s Filipino families.
Kaibigan ng Lahaina
Community Support & Disaster Relief
About the Organization:
Kaibigan ng Lahaina is a community-driven volunteer group formed after the Lahaina wildfire. They help displaced families, provide relief supplies, organize wellness events, and support ongoing recovery efforts across West Maui.
Our Partnership:
We proudly join Kaibigan ng Lahaina in outreach efforts for affected families and caregivers—providing wellness information, comfort resources, and ongoing support as the Lahaina community rebuilds.
