Through the years, federal and local health care and social agencies have put forth effort to support the older adults. Currently, we have thousands of national and local programs that may provide assistance for seniors. For most of our kupunas, the difficulty lies on identifying their options and navigating through the complexities of the systems.
A good starting point in any search for senior assistance options is to go to our own Maui County Office on Aging. Our local Office on Aging s dedicated to promote and protect the well-being of older adults in Maui County. Their primary objective is to assist our Kupuna and caregivers lead dignified and meaningful lives in their owns for as long as possible.
